Last September 6, 2014, Junior Entrepreneurs’ Society conducted a seminar entitled,
“Embracing the Enrepreneurial Path” where its purpose is for us (JES Members) to embrace and
appreciate our course Entrepreneurship. As expected, the guest speakers really did well.
They showed us that no matter how hard to become an entrepreneur and no matter how many
times we fall, we should not give up for our dreams instead, make a positive view for our failures.
What comes first to your mind when you hear the word selfie?
Selfie means a photograph that one has taken of oneself, typically one taken with a smartphone or webcam and uploaded to a social media website
People nowadays specially teenagers loves to photograph something that can caught their attention and what they love the most is to capture their own beautiful and handsome faces. They will post it naturally and sometimes edited, to the social media sites like facebook, twitter and instagram to earn likes, compliments, and popularity to the other people with the use and help of technology and other gadgets.
Sometimes, taking a selfie can lead to danger and sometimes to death. There was once a student who took her selfie while going down the stairs without looking on her steps the suddenly, she fell down and leads her to her end. So the lesson to be learned is that. You can take selfie but in a good way.
Why hashtag selfie? Because hashtag (#) means that a word with that sign will become trending worldwide.
Have you ever felt being broken by someone you really love?
I was once in love with a guy. He can make me smile and laugh with no reason.
He can enter to my mind anytime without knowing why?
He can make my heart beat so fast whenever he’s near.
I know this feeling. I know I like him and I’m i love with him.
And I know in some cases, he also feel the same way.
But the fact is that, I know he is in love with someone else.
It hurts inside.
Though I know we like each other, I have to know my limitations because he is in love with someone else.
He’s in a relationship with someone else.
I wish that I am that “someone else”.
He is a heart breaker. He builds me up then breaks me down with no sound.
Why do I have to be hurt like this?

Do we need to read in order to speak English?
The short answer is no. Some native speakers cannot read or write but they speak English fluently.
On the other hand, reading is something that you can do on your own and that greatly broadens your vocabulary,
thus helping you in speaking (and in listening and writing).

One of the main factors of success is reading. If you can’t read, you can’t see the right way for your future.
(This is based on my own opinion) Being a good reader leads you to a great future. For example, students who read
a lot and who understand what they read usually attain good grades. And take note that reading is not complete
without comprehension. You must understand what you are reading.
So why is reading important? It is because, when we read, we discover new things, it develops our mind and
imagination, etc. and the most important is that, reading is one of the building blocks of life.
So guys, read, read and read. 🙂
I just want to reminisce a part of my 2012…
Last September 14,2012, we went to Guiguinto,Bulacan for an Immersion.
It was a project for our subject Sociology. We went at Clarisa Galang’s house in Mayon and waited our service there
. Our trip became exciting and fun because I am with my close friends. We have arrived in Guiguinto at 10:00 in the evening.
We began our immersion on Saturday morning ’til afternoon. The first step that we have done was we made an interview with the workers.
They were the ones who were planting the crops using rice hulls instead of using soil. They sell them at a big price because it takes months for the plants to grow.
The source of their income is by planting because Guiguinto was known as the Garden City.
To cut the story short,we also did what they were doing. We tried planting using ricehulls. We designed the plants by cutting them.
It was a good experience because I have known how hard for the workers to earn money. But inspite of the hard times, I’ve seen them happy doing their jobs because they love what they’re doing. 🙂

Brain? Heart? Or both? This is the common problem of those people who are deeply in LOVE! They do not know what they will use or follow when it comes to love. When your mind says that you must do this and you should do that, your heart is always against of what your mind says. It’s too hard.
We all know that our heart don’t have the ability of thinking. It just pumps our blood for its continuous flow in our body so that we will be able to live. It’s our brain that has the capability to think. But when it comes to love, we follow more our hearts and not our mind. The question is WHY?
Because our brain is saying the truth when we’re in love and we can’t accept that fact. For example, The Brain says: NO!; The Heart says: GO!; The Brain says: YOU CAN’T LOVE HIM/HER; The Heart says: PUT NOTHING ABOVE HIM/HER. Did you get the point? J That’s why we are all confused! But come to think of it, we don’t have brains in our hearts. J But for me, when it comes to emotions, feelings, etc., then yes, our heart is the one who is responsible for it.
But in the end, our brain will stop and remind us of our mistakes that we have done from past when we chose to use our hearts. Time will come that we will prove to ourselves that the brain is right.
